Fine Paintings 2003

September 18 - December 31, 2003

It is with great pleasure that I present this collection of fine paintings, showcasing the best work we currently have at the gallery.  Producing a catalogue such as this one is always an exciting undertaking, as is the very act of assembling such a collection of museum-quality paintings. One of the highlights of this exhibition is La Seine a Plougastel by French artist Eugene Boudin. A subtle rendering of boats at anchor in the early morning, this painting has a fine provenance.  Featured, you will also find a gem of a work by Wouterus Verschuur delicately depicting a noble horse, and some fine examples of genre paintings by Bernard Pothast and Bernard de Hoog.

On behalf of all of us here at the Odon Wagner Gallery, I sincerely hope that you enjoy this collection, and I look forward to being of assistance to you,  Odon Wagner
